Since I'm still quite new to this game review thing, I'll more then likely change the way I grade games. I know this is only my 2nd review but I'm going to change the grading system anyway, it'll now be by letter grade! Example: Fantastic titles that feel like Chuck Norris personally rubbed them in his beard will receive a SSS rating. Great Games that feel like they were created by Zeus will receive an S rating. Very Good games of course will get an A and Good games will get a B and so forth, you know C,D,F etc...
Now for the Batman review!
This game is awesomo! There hasn't been a super hero game this great in a loooong long time. My review might be a little bit bias only cause Batman is my favorite hero ever so if you don't like Batman, well... you can fall into the deepest hole in the Bat cave. This game is metal gear solid but with Batman and less FMVs. Anyway now on to the nitty-gritty!
Game play: Fantastic controls make for an enjoyable game. My only problem came from controlling the camera occasionally. Trying to move and having to swing the camera behind myself was annoying sometimes. The free flowing combat is amazing, although it might feel like random button mashing at first you'll start to learn that you are reward more for timing then anything else in this game and that button mashing will get you harshly punished in later levels.
Graphics: The game runs off the Unreal Engine, but unlike most games that are powered by the Unreal Engine this game has great art design. Everything feels and looks exactly like you would imagine a Batman game to look like.
Sound: Music and sound design are all very moody and atmospheric, fits the game very, very well. Voice acting in this game is the greatest. To prove my point all I have to say is Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill (Batman the animated series)
Story: Great! All I have to say for this one is Paul Dini (Batman the animated series). If that's not enough to get you to buy the game here's the short version of the story. Joker has taken over Arkham and Batman has to stop him.
Overall: This game is great, in fact it's better then great it's The bestest game everz!!! The challenge mode insure that this game has great replay value for a looooong time, totally worth 59.99. I give this game SSS rating go buy now!!
