Awesomo Hack and Slasher with a bit of RPG!

Welcome to Billy Awesomo 30 second reviews. Why is it called 30 second reviews? Well for you information lots of game designer use something called the 30 second rule, which as states and I quote " If it captures the audiences attention for more then 30 seconds then it's worth playing" end quote. Also I plan to keep all of my reviews short and to the point, In this day in age when one is on the go, one rarely has time to read long game reviews. Besides why bother reading long reviews when you can be using that time to play games. Well enough chit chat from me time for the review of Muramasa the demon blade.

Story: There are two story modes in the game, one for character A and one for Character B. Both stories are different and have their on plot twist and so forth etc. The problem with story in this game is unless you have a really good understanding of Japanese mythos or culture you will probably be lost most of the time.

Game play: Strait up hack and slash with a few RPG/Metroidvania elements thrown in. Combo system is fairly deep and there are over a hundred different swords to collect in this game. Battle system never gets too repetitive, also game play is a bit liner. Can be hard sometimes.

Graphics: One of the more impressive looking wii titles out on the market, This game is pure 2-D goodness. There's lots of personality in all of the character design. Backgrounds look fantastic and the colors are very pleasing to the eyes.

Sound: There's no english Dubs which, depending who you are, may or may not be a bad thing. Personally I like the japanese voice acting. The music is very traditionally Japanese and the sound effects are pretty much what you would expect to hear from a sword game. Overall sound and music do a good job for the games atmosphere.

User Interface: menus are really easy to navigate through and are will designed.

Replay value: There two characters so twice the story, aside from collecting all the swords in this game the replay value doesn't seem that high.

Controls: The games controls very well and supports the classic controller, gamecube controller, and nun-chuck and wiimote

Overall: I had a lot of fun playing this game and it's really fun if you own a Wii this is a must buy from me especially if you love 2-d games as much as I do. I give the game 4.5/5
